Using the traditional dry production methods, Matcraft pottery clay has been specially researched and designed to provide the greater strength and plasticity required for both functional domestic ware and those creative masterpieces.

Matcraft 4W White Stoneware: An excellent throwing body, fine textured stoneware clay, suitable for wheelwork and handbuilding.

• Firing Range: 1280°C – 1300°C.

Matcraft 9B Buff Stoneware: A very plastic, fine textured stoneware clay with superb throwing, drying and firing characteristics. Exceptional fired strength and thermal shock resistance. Ideal for handbuilding and wheelwork.

• Firing Range: 1280°C – 1300°C.

Matcraft Handbuilding: A beautiful handbuilding body with excellent workability, drying and firing characteristics. Exceptional fired strength and thermal shock resistance. Ideal for handbuilding and wheelwork.

• Firing Range: up to 1300°C.

Matcraft Raku: An excellent body for Raku – for handbuilding pieces and wheelwork.

• Firing Range: up to 1300°C.

Matcraft Terracotta: A fine strong Terracotta clay, suitable for glazed and unglazed pieces. Excellent throwing properties – equally suitable for handbuilding.

Matcraft White Earthenware: A fine strong earthenware clay with excellent throwing properties, equally suitable for handbuilding.

Matcraft MR10 Fine White Stoneware: We have researched and developed a superior fine white stoneware clay combining exceptional quality and strength, fully vitrified at Orton Cone 10, excellent throwing properties and ideal for handbuilding.

• Firing Range: 1280°C – 1300°C.

Matcraft 10B Fine Buff Stoneware: A fine buff stoneware clay that combines exceptional strength and quality. Equally ideal for handbuilding or wheelwork. Fully vitrified at Orton Cone 10.
